

Emmanual Essel Jr.
Coach Emmanuel Essel Jr., AKA Coach AJ, grew up in Ghana West Africa where soccer was the national sport and a regular part of his past. When he migrated to the United States as a teen, he played for his high school in Cobleskill, New York. He also played in intramural leagues while in college and took to coaching when he joined Inner City Soccer Club in Akron, Ohio focusing on U9 and U10 Boys and Girls teams. This was followed by several years as a coach for the City of Santa Cruz Soccer Club where he helped develop various U9 and U10 boys' teams.
Coach AJ relocated to the City of South Fulton in 2020 and since then coached 2 seasons with Olympic of Atlanta and is currently with the South Fulton Oasis coaching the U12 boys.
Coach AJ enjoys the game of soccer and believes it's a vessel for building character and resilience in the youth. He specializes in team building, endurance, and conditioning as well as tactical maneuverability.
